Hemingway Daiquiri
The Hemingway Daiquiri is a shaken cocktail of light rum, fresh lime juice, fresh grapefruit juice, and maraschino liqueur, served up in a chilled coupe. It is also called the Papa Doble after Ernest Hemingway, who drank it at El Floridita in Havana and famously refused added sugar. The grapefruit and maraschino do the sweetening work; if the drink reads too dry, add a barspoon of simple syrup.
Ingredients
- 2 oz light rum
- 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz fresh grapefruit juice
- 0.25 oz maraschino liqueur
