Method
- Combine bourbon, Campari, and sweet vermouth in a mixing glass.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir for 20 to 30 seconds.
- Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube.
- Express the orange peel oils over the glass and drop the peel in.

Pro tip
Bourbon's sweetness reshapes the Negroni's bitterness. Use a 100-proof bourbon if you want the spirit to stay legible against the Campari.
