Aperol Spritz

An Aperol Spritz is built in a large wine glass filled with ice using 3 oz prosecco, 2 oz Aperol, and 1 oz cold soda water in that order. Stir once and garnish with a thick orange slice.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz prosecco, chilled
  • 2 oz Aperol
  • 1 oz cold soda water

Method

  1. Fill a large wine glass with fresh ice.
  2. Pour the prosecco first.
  3. Add the Aperol over the back of a bar spoon to layer.
  4. Top with cold soda water.
  5. Stir once to combine.
  6. Garnish with a thick orange slice. Add an olive if hosting in the Venetian style.
